17th April 1999 @ Carnegie Hall, New York City, NY

On Saturday 17-04-1999 the Rainforest Foundation International held its 10th Annual Benefit Concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York City. The performing artists (Sting, Elton John, Billy Joel, Don Henley, Ricky Martin, Sandra Bernard and Billy Murray) performed their own renditions of Frank Sinatra songs. Sting performed Witchcraft and In the Wee Small Hours. For the finale, Theme from New York, New York, the artists stood in line, all in black top hats, and did leg kicks along with Tony Bennett and French crooner Charles Aznavour. The show raised more than $2 million for the Rainforest Foundation.
